In attendance and recognized were MCMA Scholarship recipients (L
to R): Debbie Bonds, 2009 and renewed for 2010; Sacha Frasier,
2009 and renewed for 2010; Sam Bates, 2010 winner from Boaz HS;
Dr. Larry Miller, Chief Academic Officer for Snead State
Community College; and Lucia Silvestre, winner from Boaz HS.

political forum and introduced our candidates for State
Legislature. |

Each candidate was given an opportunity to state their
qualifications for office and briefly address issues of interest
and concern to business. |

|
Attendees and candidates had the opportunity to meet and talk
one-on-one following the conclusion of the forum. |
|
|
|
|

|
|
14 of the 16 candidates running for State Legislative office
were in attendance along with a good representation of MCMA
members and other guests. |
|
|
|
|
 |
|
|
